My son got moved to the front of the line

On his first airborne jump! Black hat asked who wanted to go first and my son made the mistake of speaking up with a “hell no” and was grabbed and told “you’re first bro”. So on his first jump he was the first out the door from the C17 this morning.

He loved it, he’s hooked. They did 2 jumps today, he has 2 tomorrow then one Wednesday night and I get to pin his wings on him Friday at graduation.

Yeah, I’m proud of him

Being an old wiring technician instead of a reserve chute, I would want a fishtape, because I know it will hang up on something on my way down.
My luck it would be the plane.
