Just put this one together. Turned out pretty nice. The case was all polished so I brushed the sides

I have been looking at almost the same setup .. But made a bid on this and won so I am on a dial and crystal search at the moment. May keep the dial once I get a look at it without the crystal scratches/ and attempt to clean the rust.

That’s a tough for me due to the age and style. I’d be inclined to replace that crystal and do a resto on the case. Put it on a black or blue nato or other simple strap.

That's a great watch. Congrats.

Thanks a ton Adam. The SW200-1 movement in it is running a little faster than I'd prefer (15 seconds fast after approximately 30 hours). IIRC, Oris supposedly regulates that movement to +/- 10 SPD, so it's a little outside of that spec. We'll see if it settles out a bit after wearing it for a few days straight.

Aside from that, the only other negatives that I've noticed is that there's a little back play on the bezel, and the end links don't fully extend to the end of the lugs. Otherwise, it's a nice wearing, very lightweight watch. The extreme taper on the bracelet from 20mm to 15mm is great. I wasn't sure that I'd like the taper, but it definitely helps with wearability.

As a bonus, I was able to register the watch with a 3 year factory warranty on Oris' website. It shows that it was originally shipped to an AD in Siena, Italy in October of 2022. I'm not sure if I'd still need a stamped warranty card if the watch needs any work during the warranty period though.

Crystal is a must , hoping I can clean the dial . Will definitely resto the case somewhat , do not want polished but more uniform than what it is now. Nato band is on the way.

I’m hoping that discoloration at the 9 can be cleaned up a bit. It’s a cool watch for sure.
