Anyone remember Gibson's Discount Center

They has trash cans in the sporting goods isles, full of long guns for next to nothing.

I remember a Gibsons in Chickasha, had a great fishing lure section!

There was one in Duncan. I was in there a lot.

They had everything, and if they didn’t have it, you didn’t need it.

I still have bricks of Federal 22 ammo from the Gibsons in McAlester which was on Carl Albert , Later an Atwoods moved in there , when I drove by there on the way to visit family Saturday it was empty .

I visited the one at 41st & MacArthur often. My church is across the street from it's former location which is also now a church.

Never really lived anywhere that had a Gibson's that I recall. But I loved going to Western Auto when I was a kid. They always had guns I could look at.

Otasco was at one end of town and Western Auto was at the other end .. good times
