I visited the one at 41st & MacArthur often. My church is across the street from it's former location which is also now a church.
I worked there in HS, I stocked groceries and hated it. Actually it was Jr HS. I was 14, that woulda been 1983 I think.
That building is Victory Church now.

My first 22 which I still own was purchased at the Otasco in Hartshorne
My first gun was a 22 that my Mom bought me for a birthday present, from the OTASCO in Altus OK. I think I was 15, maybe 16.

She saved up every 50 cent piece coins she could get, put them in a jar, until she had enough to buy it.

I still have bricks of Federal 22 ammo from the Gibsons in McAlester which was on Carl Albert , Later an Atwoods moved in there , when I drove by there on the way to visit family Saturday it was empty .
A furniture business moved in after Atwood's moved. Atwood's is on hwy 69 south now out by the airport.
