Did the females have mature eggs or were they spawned out?
The blues we caught yesterday are two weeks or more from spawning. The eggs were still white, small, and milky looking.
Buddy caught some crappie last week saying they hadn't spawned yet, and eggs were immature.
Crazy spring if that is the case. Crappie are typically done two to three weeks ago around here.
Dangerous lake. We fished it a couple years after it opened when I was a kid. Stumps everywhere and the idiots with 300 hp bass boats running 80mph can get insane on tournament weekends or holidays.
Our 14' aluminum with a 10 hp Johnson didn't stand a chance.

Still really stumpy. And yes this is the McDonald’s big splash tournament weekend. I’m not participating in it. But there will be hundreds of dumb a__es out there. Now a days they run 100 mph. Which is stupid.
Most have spawned. Out of 90 probably 10 percent had eggs.
