Finally Got One

I finally got my little, young, tender 6-point last night. With the bow, of course. Haven't got the smoke pole out in two years - haven't needed it. Forgot to get the picture for the contest.

Now it'll be just does until that 14-point comes along I had on the trail camera.

When I get the 14 point - I'll post the pics.

Here is the before pic from my trail cam. I think it would be cool to now shoot him and have both pic hanging on the wall with his mount. Maybe?

Congrats on the buck. I haven't got the chance to let an arrow fly yet. The most excitement I've had was missing a big hog with my muzzleloader. Let us know when you bag that big bruiser. What a rack.

That is a nice rack on that buck Harry. He looks really young though. No sway back or big belly. Another year and he will be a monster but I don't think I could let him walk by.

If I can get a bead on him - He's dead! The crossbow will do it.

Well he's dead, but I didn't get him. Someone else did. I'm trying to contact him and get a picture and measurments for future reference. Might be he'd enjoy the trail cam pictures too.
