So.... just a suggestion..... maybe mods could work it out. A Black Friday Thread where people post deals they see. Already some good deals posted here, might as well post everything else IMO.

I guess none of you folks recommending a bigger safe than what one thinks is needed, practices the “working collection” concept.

If a firearm doesn’t see use in a year, it’s sold or traded away. It works well for me, and the 24-gun safe I bought ten years ago still has a few open slots.

Nah, I do have a somewhat of a working collection but I also have a son that I need to ensure has access to all the same freedoms I enjoy today. Who knows what the next political cycle will hold so I am acquiring some items prematurely and need to keep them safe and in good condition until he is old enough to care for them himself. He is currently 6.

Wow that sale ad has a picture of a friend of mine, David Bouska in it. I guess he is giving a class tomorrow at SCI from 12 to 5... "Grilling on a Traeger Grill". This would be a good one to take if you're new to mini log burners. David is a great guy!
On opening day of deer gun season????? WTF is wrong with him?????:D:D

FWIW, the Madill Atwoods said they'll load a gun safe onto your pickup/truck (or trailer I presume) with a forklift.

Beyond that, it's your problem. :/

Guess I need to find someone that will deliver one to my front sidewalk/porch at least. I should be able to get it inside from there. Eventually... :D

A moving and storage company has all the equipment to get it inside and where you want it. Cheaper than blowing out a disk in your back.
Right after graduating HS I worked for a company like that.
We moved a lot of safes, pool tables, 9' concert grand piano's, etc.
2 guys, with the right equipment, and its done pretty quickly.

Well as it turned out, he had to cancel due to his mother being in serious condition in the hospital. Not sure what he was thinking... or maybe he wasn't thinking. He has processed MANY a deer as a butcher for years.
