Well said Dennis! This virus is a bad deal, but the nonsense of thinking that everything done by duly elected representatives is in some way a much greater “virus” that will ultimately do far more damage to our nation.

Enjoy life, family and community, but mainly just ENJOY instead of worrying.

Here, but occasionally There.
My congregation is having morning worship and that’s it. Sadly my wife and I cannot attend because we both have auto immune diseases. So I will do communion with just me and her at home. I checked our bulletin and attendance last week was only 80 people. I’m sure it will be far less now. And we have mostly older people in our congregation. I think they were having communion set up for anyone that wanted to come today that isn’t gonna be at worship. And they will go to peoples homes that can’t get out and have communion with them.

Our church also live streams the services. From what I heard yesterday, our minister is still going to give his sermon via live stream on YouTube. (Lakehoma Church of Christ) Won't be much, if anything, of an audience, but we will probably listen in.

I don't think so.
My personal opinion is that the country has came together to defeat an enemy, the same way the country came together to defeat the enemy in previous wars.
This isn't the same deal as a government takeover of our rights. Nobody is required to stay home under enforcement of law. It's all been voluntary so we can as a group defeat this virus.
Yes, there have been some regulations about not meeting in groups larger than 10 with tickets being issues if they do, but that is part of making the public aware of the danger. The government under Trump is being totally proactive on this no matter what the liberal media keeps throwing out there
Some are taking this the wrong way I think. The Government isn't infringing on your rights, just asking if you will help by staying at home.
If the government took up arms to take away our rights, I'd be on the front lines, but this situation is not the same.
Chill out and ride with this. Hopefully it will end soon.

you mean this California?

Crowds packed California beaches despite shelter in place order
Crowds descended on California beaches, hiking trails and parks over the weekend in open defiance of a state order to shelter in place and avoid close contact with others.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a shelter in place order directing the state's nearly 40 million residents to stay home beginning March 20 to help stop the spread of coronavirus....
