I have one on an AR pistol build with the T reticle as opposed to the triangle reticle. There is a short learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it’s basically like a reflex dot w/o batteries. It holds ~4” group at 50 yds standing offhand (not too bad considering my poor eyesight and the...
I'm not sure about what actually happened but NRA-ILA said it went into effect immediately rather than Nov 1.
NRA-ILA | Oklahoma: Hunting with Suppressors Legislation Signed into Law
Reminds me of when I was helping someone shop for a 22 handgun and the guy behind BP's counter insisted, almost belligerently, that a ruger mkiii did not have a hammer...
For the most part I have no problem with the school banning this attire. Far too many kids these days dress in a manner that is disrespectful to themselves. Dress codes can help curb some of this at least while theyre in class. However, I think much of the issue here was not the dress code so...
Sounds like an attempt at another asinine law written by a politition that doesnt know anything about the matter that they are trying to regulate. If ODWC (you know, the people we are paying to have a clue on how to keep our heard healthy) didn't ask the legislature for it, then it shouldn't...
Parents decided to get me the lifetime hunting for HS grad. When I found out what they were going to do, I wrote them a check for the difference and asked them to get me the combo instead. I hunt all 3 deer seasons and not having to wait in line at the tag counter is so nice.
My trust account is at TFCU. I didn't have any trouble but then my trust doesn't specifically say in the title that it was formed for NFA because it's really none of their business...
I was looking for a filter about a year ago and this is what I came up with. What is below I believe to be factual but feel free to educate me if I'm errant.
I picked up a katadyn pocket a while back - a little heavier and more expensive but has cleanable ceramic filter good for ~13000gallons...
I haven't ordered one of these from them but I did purchase my parker crossbow from them. Other than taking a few days longer on the shipping than necessary, there were no problems - bow came in a sealed box from parker and appeared to never have been assembled. Also, going thru them did save me...
The scariest hunt I've had was actually this year. My family recently purchased land on the eastern side of Eufaula in Muskogee county. Anyway, during the first week of bow season, I had a neighboring property owner approach me carrying a rifle wanting to know what I'm doing on "His" property...
I used to hunt muzzle-loader down by pickens but haven't hunted there for years now. It's some good area but I eventually got tired of hunting near all the people with those new semi-automatic "muzzle-loaders" if you know what I mean.... There were quite a few deer but finding them through all...
well, I don't have much experience with Burris optics on a rifle. However, I did put their pistol scope on my 308 encore handgun after it broke the retical out of a Nikon within 10 shots of being mounted.... ~100 rounds later the Burris is still holding zero, no problems
looks like a nice ADL. I have one just like it (except in 270) that my father purchased new approximately 10 years ago at the academy in edmond. The stock looks exactly like an adl from that time period and yes it has iron sights.
From Dalesp's definition, I think it can safely be called a professional event. The real question, which dave hits on, is whether or not it is a sporting event. Dictionary def for sporting is something connected to an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team...
