So I recently went up for orders again, and it looks like im going to be stationed at Tinker AFB! I dont leave til June so there is a small chance they could change, but as of now it looks like ill be back in the area next year!

There are 2 schools of thought on this.
Some say "see the world, don't go back home"
Some say "home is great, go TDY as often as you can"
I'm in the second school of thought, especially when talking about OKC. I'm very happy to be back home after being away for training. The wife and I have all of the family and friend support we had before we left, plus new military friends. We're up for a 3 year PCS that will be a great break, and then back to OKC. If this was some tiny, terrible city, I'd say that a change might be worth it.. OKC is just big enough to give me all the resources I want, and small enough to avoid most large city problems.
Do jump on every chance to see the world you get. Tourism on Uncle Sugar's dollar is awesome.

Buckley AFB in Denver used to be a Naval Air Base. Now it is AFB.
