I did this a whole bunch of years ago except I went the other way. I welded a piece of 2in sch40 steel pipe in the middle to make some deeeeep well sockets. They've been pounded on with 3/4" impacts ever since and nothing has come from together. Used 7018 before all the cool kids came along with their fancy wire jobs.11/2" drive sockets behind the ones i converted to 3/8" drive
Had to cut the 1 1/16" socket down shorter to fit in a tight spot!
Took about 1/8"-3-16" of the depth.
I use to have to use one a some 727 brakes waaaaay back in the daymeantime I had to buy a 25/32" wrench and sockets
Another wrench and sockets I didn't know I needed until the last couple months.
I dont think there a to many people making ratcheting box wrenches at 1" or bigger, but I could be wrong. Why couldn’t you have used a 1 1/16” ratcheting wrench?
Looks like spoiler linkage your wrenching on.Had to cut the 1 1/16" socket down shorter to fit in a tight spot!
