10/22 Sling Swivels

Any recommendations or just any old set? Building an Appleseed rifle.

Uncle Mikes 1 1/4" QD swivels work well (model QD115).

do you have the studs in the stock already?
if not, which style stock do you have?
if with a barrel band, they make a stud for the front that goes in the split in the barrel band.
otherwise you would just use the standard bolt action rifle studs and countersink the nut into the forend or find a set with the real short front wood screw thread.
which ever way you go just make sure to go with 1 1/4" swivels as previously stated because that is the size of most target type slings.

One thing I've noticed is that some of the stock sling loops don't have a large enough opening to get the double-hook marksman type slings through. If you switch them out for the Uncle Mike's swivels they will work for that use.
