Ok, so I thought I try my hand at a DYI trigger job on my Ruger 10/22. I followed this as a guide. Pretty simple to do, but I think I took it a little two far. On the first try, the trigger pull was around 7#. Second try was 5#. On the third try, I didn't think I took too much off, but it came out at about 2.75#.
Im okay with the 2.75#, but I took it to the range the other day and it had some issues. Several FTFs and a double fire. Am I better off just buying a replacement hammer and sear (Volquartsen or Power Custom) or can this be fixed?
