Friend at work has an old Winchester Rifle that is chambered in .22 Winchester Rimfire (WRF).He is looking for some ammo to shoot through it,this stuff I know is hard to find and was wondering if anyone here was familiar with this round? The .22 Remington Special is identical which differed in being a round nose.

Gardners in Elk City had some a while back.
I can check when I get home.
I actually have a Remington Model 12 in .22 Rem. Special, I bought 500 rounds of that a few years back.

One of the ammo manufactures make ammo in that caliber once a year. When its gone its gone. I've seen it listed in Sportsmans Guide, Natchez and Cabella's on occasion.
