.308 cost and availability

How much do .308 rounds cost and how widely available are they?

If you don'u mind steel cases academy has monarch for 9.99 a box and are usually in stock.( I've never seen them run out.) I use this stuff in my cetme and it works fine.

If you look hard, you can find surplus for 50-65 cents a shot.

Depends on what you want and what you will be firing it in. American made ammo or cheaper priced imported stuff. I pretty much rely on American made for my M1 in .308, but save the cases and 'roll my own'. I won't feed any steel cases into that chamber.

I see .308 EVERYWHERE in Tulsa! Never any .380 for pistols, but tons of .308.

Other than .22s and shotgun shells, its the most common round I come across.
