I'm looking at either Golden Tiger (Laquer Coated) or Wolf (Polymer) to run though a Czech-VZ-58. I've never used either one but I'm leaning to the Wolf mostly because of the poly coating. Anyone ever shoot any of the Golden Tiger?

I have and still have both. They are pretty much the same thing. Wouldnt worry about the polly coating, if stored right. If you have anything american that uses that cal dont use ones with the coating. Bad things happen. My advice is to get the cheaper of the two.

I shot some Golden Tiger a couple of years ago. I was told that it was hotter then Wolf Classic, I could not tell. I have never had any issues with any coated ammo in my AK.

Golden tiger is what I usually use in my yugo ak. It seems to be slightly more accurate than wolf. But in any case I'd go with whichever is cheaper.
