870 Safety upgrade?

Any suggestions for a replacement safety for an 870 thats a bit longer for use with aftermarket pistol grips? I'd prefer one thats not larger in diameter...just a bit longer to clear the grip better...but if its both larger in diameter and longer, I'll mod the grip as needed.

I see Wilson Combat and others sell ones that are larger in diameter but they dont specify if its longer.

Can either of you measure it's width compared to the stock piece?

I measured the stock safety diameter at .337" and the Vang at .437".
