They are both fun, my suggestion is to register an SBR lower, and get a 9mm and .223 upper that you can swap out.

I see several folks are saying they are not 100% reliable, but do you know why? Another member on here has a 9mm AR with a RDIAS in it and he brought it out to the range on veterans day and it ran 100%. We shot a LOT of ammo thru it and it was almost all on full-auto including at least 1 Beta dump. I would say that they can be reliable if his is an example, but I do not know what issues others are having.

The only time that mine chooses not to cooperate is when I'm on the clock! lol... I can stand around punching holes in paper all day long without a hickup, but as soon as that timer goes off things are not as easy. I think that just the way of things I guess. I have seen and fired the exact same setup as mine on full auto several times with no issues as well.
