I could go either way on that one. It depends on what your practical need is. If it's intended to fulfill a specific role outside of a collection then pick the one that will work best for that purpose.

There's more demand for the 2.5" 19-5 right now. The 2.5" Models 19 and 66 have been "in demand" for some time now. I'm honestly surprised that their demand hasn't diminished some.

That being said, I'd probably lean toward keeping the J frame. The no-dash Model 60 was the first stainless revolver that Smith & Wesson put into production.

Do either one of them have the factory original box? I would go with the one with the box. Both being equal, the magnum will probably fetch a higher price. FYI, I'm pretty sure the model 60 never had a recessed cylinder.

IF the M19 is in similar condition to your M60, I would trade.

Has the M19 had a large diet of magnum ammo?
Neither one has been shot much. Found out the 19 has some slight pitting where the grips meet the frame.
My no dash is in perfect shape.

I have a vintage early 1980's Model 19 Combat Masterpiece, in nickel. First gun I ever bought...Love that thing. No idea what they're worth these days.
