Some awesome suggestions guys, and you're absolutely right about the big crowds and such. But we're not wanting a big fancy resort or any kind of tourist trap.

We're just wanting a nice hotel with an indoor pool, and close to good eatin' joints so we don't hafta travel too far away from the room.

Hell, if I had my druthers, I'd pack my swim trunks, a toothbrush and maybe a change of underwear. I just wanna check in, go to my room, strip off, hang up the clothes I just took off and don't get dressed again until check out time.

Mrs. GED did mention something about Medicine Park a few years ago. What's all the hype about that place?

River Spirit in Tulsa? They have an awesome pool. A Margheritaville. A Ruth Chris steakhouse. A spa. Nice casino and a couple more restaraunts all without leaving the place.

We stayed at the Frontier Hotel in Pawhuska awhile back and liked it. Of course your lady will probably want to go to the Pioneer Woman’s bring your money and spend on my junk store.

But…if yiu like the actor Ben Johnston, he’s got a museum there and there’s the Tall Grass Prairie, I really enjoyed those two.

Probably farther than you want to drive, but I love Sipapu Ski Resort out by Taos. Secluded, little to no cell signal and quiet. Has a small river running through the grounds plus multiple kinds of lodging. Wherever yall end up going, have fun!
