Got a friend in the UP that says the snow has really been lacking this year. I was there a couple years ago and got snowed on in the middle of October.

October of this year, we were up in South Dakota and took a day trip to NE Wyoming to see and walk around Devil's Tower. Snowed on us (just a wee bit) on that day trip.
They do that so the recent college graduates know what is happening.
Most wouldn't look up from their phones to even notice.
Went to the farm again today to hang some no trespassing signs. Road around on the atv for a couple hours in the snow. No drifts around to make it real fun though.
I have No Trespassing and Keep Out, Private Property signs posted at my gate. Funny how the only people who pay any attention at all to them are the service guys from the phone and gas companies and the electric coop, not the inconsiderate SOBs who drove me to post them. (Because at 8am on a Saturday morning when I've just gotten home from spending all night recovering a crashed server, I obviously want you to bang on my door so you can offer me $50 for my brother's '65 Mustang.)Went to the farm again today to hang some no trespassing signs.
