Aguila 9mm Headstamp

I reloaded a bunch of 9mm range brass tonight and noticed an odd brass casing. The case was headstamped "Aguila 9mm" and had a crimping cannelure on the case. I found it strange that it was not headstamped "9mm Luger" like all other 9mm brass I typically reload. Anybody know if this case is actually 9mm Luger?

I have reloaded the Mexican Aguilla 9mm Luger brass when it appears in range pickups. I do not remeber the exact head`stamp. You can compare your brass to a fired 9mm Luger case of another brand to insure that iot's not 9x18 Makarov.

They should be. Aguila is pretty good ammo and their components seem well made. I doubt it's 9mm Mak, or it would be mark as such. Being a Mexican company they probably don't use the European terms "LUGER" or "PARA/PARABELLUM", but I am suprised they don't use "9x19mm".

Thanks. I've visually compared it with another reloaded round and it appears to be the same size as a 9mm Luger. I wish I had caught it before running it through the press - I could have made some measurements.
