I don't know about the national media, but either News9 or Fox25 covered it last week, even going out to H&H to talk to Miles Hall. Apparently, some PDs are having trouble getting ammo, just like us plebes.

Actually there is no shortage. Wouldn't a shortage be when there is a smaller amount of ammo available? The ammo companies are producing at full capacity. There is more ammo than ever being sold. Yes it is hard to find ammo to buy and that might be a shortage. You would have thought that the last few years would have caused the ammo makers to add more capacity than they did.

Think about it for a minute--if there's no shortage, then why is everyone sold out? It doesn't matter if it's driven by a deficit of supply or an excess of demand, it's still a shortage.

This is my thinking as well. If you can't buy something because it's not available, then it's a shortage!
