They could barely keep it on the paper and declined to show the target when they were done.

i have stainless 3 inch chamber judge shooting into a pond at about 40 ft with some old 3 in nimber 5"s it had about a 6 ft wide pattern. it was realy tearing up the water

I shot a couple .410 loads out of a friend's Judge (sorry, I don't remember which model) at a paper target with a life-sized torso on it. The target was five yards away, but I remember being surprised at the spread of the pattern. The main body of the pattern was in the center of the torso, but outlying pellets landed in the white on both sides of the torso...
