Same here. Imagine if UPS were as good as the gov, packages would just stay in Afghanistan.
I forgot this lil guy was also all alone off to the side, in a case at a different gun shop. Had to bring another stray home with me.
Going thru a pile of old parts & found this 1903 high hump handguard with the “S” stamp. Pretty rare I believe. My ‘03 is a Mark 1 (around 1918 manufacture date). This stamped handguard is for the 1910-ish era I think. High humps were phased out around 1920.

The lighting on your pic had me all screwed up since it looks like the slide is bulged out instead of scalloped and the rear slide serrations looked bass ackwards. Had to look at it on Midwayusa.com to see actual true to form pic.

Found this M1hammer a few years ago. Side-stamped 2springfield. Never seen a side stamp 2 before, only top stamped 2’s (which are common). Rich Borecky (barnwood fame) repaired a 1917 Enfield stock for me & I asked him about the hammer. He said pretty rare as he had only ever seen a couple of them.

Hope 8 months is accurate my last can took 16 months but that was before eform 4’s rolled out.
