Scored these at Walmart this weekend for $11/box.

I don't even have a 22 WMR... yet.....

Hoping to correct that with a Marlin 783 this next weekend.

And here is the Marlin 783 to go with the ammo. I added the scope and sling.
This rifle dates to 1982.

I actually traded the Marlin 99c (that I just repaired and refinished a couple weeks ago) and $50 for this.

I was ringing a 3" plate at 50yds and a 4" at 65 yds with the iron sights without any issue.

While on my twice a month trip to Walmart for groceries here in Mustang I picked up three boxes of Winchester 7.62x51.....they had another 10 or so boxes remaining. They also had .380 ammo......their new box limit is 3 which is better than the 2 box limit up until now.

Got some odds and ends for the Charger project; a Kidd 10” barrel and some TandemKross pins for the receiver and trigger group.
I think I’m just waiting for the bolt and receiver now.

Most excellent day at the compound

Nordic plus 6 extension for Eleanor arrived, along with a BCM QD sling mount for the rear and Sure Cycle barrel clamp/Swivel for the front.

Blue Force Sling and threw on a shotgun card for the rear.

She holds 10 rounds of "bigger" 2 3/4" shells or 9 rounds of 3". Along with the ghost shell, it holds 11 rounds on a empty chamber at the ready with 14 on standby.

Not super exciting, but my fingerprint cards from Silencershop showed up today.
Now to fill out more paperwork!
