I've used a shoulder bag kinda like that in the OP to carry stuff I didn't want in my pockets when out on a walk. Works just fine.
You are aware those powdered wigs were cause of lice more than fashion. People used to go crazy and bath once a month also hence the need for a vinaigrette box to carry in your pocket so the bo stench didnt become overwhelming too.
I do not carry a vinaigrette box cause I bath and use deodorant .
Making the argument our ancestors did it for certain practical reasons doesn't make it equivalent today. Were people still toting flintlock rifles and a brace of pistols yep a possibilities bag would be a requirement . Glock 17 and the Sig P226 don't use priming powder or loose ball though last i checked.
I’m assuming this is just a reference to RickN’s younger years?nearly all men had long hair or powdered wigs.
Not me, I prefer sandals. It helps me get in touch with my feminine side.We prefer boots unlike guys who prefer gay dogs
