I have a bug in my bonnet for a new-to-me .22 rifle,,,
Specifically some older vintage single-shot,,,
Something I can restore the looks of,,,
I will soon need a graduation gift.

Ponca City is less than an hour from Stillwater,,,
So I'll head there not too early on Saturday.

Who knows,,,
Maybe I'll find a real treasure.

I will be in Ponca this weekend, so will be hitting it up.

Are there typically a lot of vendors? Any good reloaders that you know of?

I will likely be looking for 9, .40 and possibly, .357.

No telling who will show up. Powder Valley is where a lot of us get our powder and reloading supplies. Its just across the Kansas line, but they do sell online. That pesky Hazmat fee does apply though.

Its not a big show. Probably 30-40 vendors.

I have just started getting into reloading. The wife bought me a Hornady LnL for Xmas.

More reading than anything. However, I do pick up powder if I find any. It has been rather scarce up here...

30 - 40 vendors is actually pretty good. We have a travelling gun show in the Northern area of IL every month.

I would say we might get a few more, but it is not many...

From what I have read, the Armory will be a GFZ, is that correct?

HAHA, not sure what a GFZ is.

Is yours a progressive, aka LNL AP?

Sorry... GFZ = Gun Free Zone (aka CPZ = Criminal Protection Zone ie Only criminals will carry in a GFZ :-) )

Yes, it is the progressive. Unfortunately, with all the balls I have in the air, I have not set it up yet. I am hoping to reload .40 and .357. Right now, 9 is cheap enough to just buy.

I might try to load 7.62x39, as well. I don't shoot my AK enough right now to warrant it, however.

Do you reload?

Same unit I have. I shoot competitions, so it gets a lot of use.

Great reloader. Love mine. Get a can of keyboard aerosol spray to keep the primer pocket area clean, and go to town.

There are a few tweeks to get it running 100%. Youtube has the vids, or I can help. No problem asking.

Thanks for the pointers!

I will keep them in mind.
