CNN is reporting that a Federal Judge is critically wounded also.

Hospital spokeswoman told CNN that Giffords is currently in surgery for a gun shot to the head. Several others are also in surgery for gun shots. Press briefing by the hospital scheduled for 13:30ish mountain time

SHE IS NOT DEAD, SHE IS IN SURGERY!!!!

Don't go posting the first news story you hear, she was STRUCK in the face, 3 are confirmed dead, no one knows who they are or their connection to the congresswoman, she is in surgery as we speak.

Not his fault. All the news networks were reporting that she'd died for about an hour.
