I won't set foot in Starbucks since they supported some of the causes and groups in the past and now this. A cop at a nearby table doesn't bother me, they are the good guys. Based on the story, the customer would have felt much safer had some thugs come in talking loud.

Not sure who it was or which LE officer that posted a response on social media as to how they would've handled it, but it amounted to going ahead and calling 911 because they're not leaving LOL.

So if the starbucks needs the police to respond to an incident at that location are the starbucks employees going to ask all of their customers individually if they would feel safe if the officers came inside? Maybe starbucks should just hire their own security to take care of their problems seeing how the police are so bad in their eyes.

My take on it is that it was more the local employee or manager, not so much a corporate policy.
I would I have told the snowflake that first responders are always welcome, and then buy the cops a coffee.

The cops should have told the manager to STFU! What are they going to do? Call for more cops who would say the same? This is beyond stupid.

I'd say anyone who is scared of LEOs has issues. Time to bring in the K9 for a good sniffing.
