Blasting some sniper rifles

I was hired by the Stillwater PD to prep their new sniper rifles for Cerakoting. These are Remington 700 barrels with Mcree Precision aluminum stocks. The beauty of the job is that I get to go shooting with the sniper team once they are finished!

well, they picked them up today! they looked cool in satin aluminum, but the blasted finish was gnarly, I can't wait to see the finished product. The barrel on the 700 weighs about 5 pounds, the stock weighs less than 1!

Yeah, SPD apparently has quite a few guys who passed the school, which is not easy, so there are several members, not just 2-3. Definitely good to know!

What exactly are they sniping?
Has someone been setting up IED's?
Are they a Military unit about to deploy?
