So thinking about my 45 times FLS and fired .308 brass Lapua brass.
It felt the same seating the bullet on all rounds fired.
Now that does not compute as my brass was never annealed except for factory.
Now I took a 3x fired case and a 45 times fired case and FLS both and brushed the necks by hand on both and used a VLD chamfer on both cases.
Inserted a 165 GK bullet and it took 100-110 psi to seat the bullets.
It took the same to pull said bullets.. the 3x fired took 100 the 45 times fired was 110 psi to pull.
Case ID was within .00025" of each other.
NO I can't measure that small.. but I can see that my dial calipers has a distance between the .001" lines and it was about 1/4 of that distance past a line..
WOW! I have used Winchester brass in a test like that with the same 165 GK and annealed Winchester brass it took 85psi to seat and multiple times fired about 4x fired it took 45 psi to seat.
Annealed brass has more springback so the pressures to seat bullet will be more.. I have read the opposite. But I have proved different in my testing with my .308 brass.
