I don't doubt it, I was just pointing out that the elite don't have to rely on the same services the rest of us do.

And yet they still pay the same taxes for those services. "The rest of us" seem to be getting subsidized.

Edit: They did make some generous donations to the fire agency and relief.

And again we benefit from them.

Sounds like the area got some rain during the last few days and it's getting extinguished. Wrapped up is another story for those who are going to have to deal with insurance claims, lost loved ones, etc for the foreseeable future.

Eventually the truth shall prevail, I suppose. But, how many people will die, how much livestock and feral animals will die, and how much property will be destroyed before that is anyone's guess.

I can assure you that the average home price in Malibu is far more than $1M. Without even googling it I would guess the avg home price for Malibu is pushing $3 - $4 million dollars.
