Seems the limit has been lifted. Plenty of .223, 5.56 and .308. Still short on 9 and .22

Herters 7.62x39 steel case is on sale for $4.99/20

Happy shopping! Where is everyone buying bulk .22?

They still have limits on their bulk 22lr ammo and set a limit of 5 on their 100 round plastic cases of CCI. I received a package from them last night for a 525 pack of Remington and a 100 round pack of Winchester Super X.. The bulk pack was priced at 21.99 and the 100 round was 6.99 IIRC..

They did seem to lift the limit on the overpriced ammo that no one seems to want any longer.. lol

In the last 4 weeks I have been able to get my supply of 22lr back up to 11,500 rounds without paying more than .06 to .07 a round except the CCI, which I got for .08 a round. The 5.00 flat rate shipping has made that happen from Cabelas.

I haven't seen bulk .22lr since before christmas. I'm down to my last brick and a half.

Try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZRjbXKSLKI

I'm not one of those idiots who line up for ammo but I've scored 22 twice with this. I live in Coweta so our wal mart just puts ammo out when they get it around 8 pm. If I need something from wal mart, i'll usually wait until around that time to go up there and see what they got in. The 22 flies off the shelf still.

I haven't seen it at Walmart in that time frame as well. I gave up on the .03 a round 22lr for the time being. If I was in your area, I would buy the 3555 rounds that are listed in the classified section. .07 a round seems to be the new norm for on-line ammo after shipping.

Sucks, but still cheaper than 9mm or .40 S&W for a day at the range with the kids...
