Thank goodness I’m not Turkish. Don’t worry though, sooner or later the Turkish people will learn the correct English pronunciation.
Actually, for commercial purposes they did change the pronunciation of their name to match how we pronounce it here. The crazy part is that when you say Can nik in Turkish it sounds like Ka’ching!

I bought the MC9 Mete recently. Good shooter with a good trigger. Nice grip with the large backstrap. Not a drastically better gun than the Shield+ I’m carrying now however so unlikely to take over CCW duty for me.
Had some issues with my EPS carry moving around on it a bit after a couple hundred rounds. Probably the screws. Haven’t had time to mess with it again.

LOL. Sounds appropriate since Canik seems to be kicking ass with their guns.

I really like mine, however, I personally did not like the original trigger. To me it was very good after the trigger pull/shot and the reset was good, but it felt like there was a lot of slack to take up before you got to the wall just before the bang, if that makes sense. I shot a friends Kahr once and that's what the trigger pull it reminded me of. I installed a Freedomsmith Fat Daddy trigger and that took care of it. Now mine gets carried every time I hunt and it's got a bit of holster wear, but most of my guns get carried and a little used and abused in the process. lol
