I’ve been holding out for a CZ P10c, but was wandering around in Academy yesterday and ran across this deal - the Canik tp9sf elite one series. Now I’m beginning to rethink the CZ. What are your thoughts between the two?

Ive owned and shot several, and the interior/exterior fit, finish, overall quality on the canik has been good, combined with one of the best triggers ive seen on a striker fired pistol. Accuracy has been good ( less that 3” groups at 25yds). Function has been 100%. If you can get one that cheap i’d say its hard to beat. The canik is a very close walther copy. It is also almost 4 ounces heavier than the glock 19, carry wise this is noticeable, but in rapidfire the heavier slide is not a bad thing.

I've never owned one as I prefer the optic mounting system on the FN, but I have fired and worked on several. Solid guns, good triggers, good fit and finish for the price point. I do like the interchangeable back straps to give me a vertical grip like a 1911.

I can't comment on the CZ. I've never owned shot or even held one of the polymer CZ's. I think we have an officer or two that duty carry one and have had no issues. Sage Dynamics gave the CZ F model a good overall review.

So far everyone’s comments echo everything I’ve researched. The one series only comes with one mag, but otherwise it looks like a deal that’s too good to pass up. Thanks for all the input!

IMO, the CZ P10 series rivals H&K VP series guns. The triggers are about identical in feel, CZ build quality is on par with HK and the barrel's chamber area absolutely dwarfs Glock & M&P so I doubt it's even possible to blow one up. OK I'm kidding. Kinda...

Own the CZ and a Canik, Both great guns, you're really not going to go wrong with either. Put them in your hand and see which one feels more natural. The canik sits a bit higher in the hand. Phenomenal trigger as mentioned earlier.

I just had to show off one of my Canik Whiteout’s. Wish I could tell you how good it shoots but I’m saving them as collector pieces. I’m going to buy another down the road a bit to shoot. I’m positive that both of the guns you’re contemplating buying are great guns. You can’t lose either way.
