I now can keep a gun in my car while I am at work. (Still cant carry at work). I plan to place it in a lockbox under the seat and cabled to the frame. My question is, if you do this do you wear a empty holster if not what holster do you use that is easy to put on? Right now I will carry my Taurus 738 TCP and keep it in a pocket holster. Thanks.

depends on the holster. All leather IWB's like a summer special should be taken off if there is no gun inside it otherwise you collapse the leather and wad it up. I don't bother to remove my crossbreed, Kydex no biggie.

I always use a clip on or snap on IWB holster and the firearm always stays holstered. I slip the holster off and lock it up with the gun in it. A paddle holster would work as well.
