Case Separation/Stuck Case Fix

I was shooting my Encore 9.3x74r this afternoon and had my first experience with case separation, and I tried pushing it out with a cleaning rod and tapping on the muzzle with a rubber mallet and got nowhere. I was about to give up when I remembered an article I read years ago where a guy used a rat tail file to pull his stuck case out. Well I’ll be danged, it worked!

Terrible feeling, isn't it???? The only experience I have with it is on .303 British. And, you never have the tools with you to handle it!

push a tight fitting brass bristle Cleaning brush into the case and try to pull it that way.
another way I got one was with a bore snake. Pull til you get the bristles into the case mouth and then pull out the chamber with the handle side of the string

I tried multiple sizes of brass brushes, and that didn’t work in my gun.
