That's not neccessarily true.

By proprietary issues I mean failures due to desgin specs that were outside of the scope that JMB intended. Also, if a failure DOES happen with certain parts like their Power Extractor then you will be at their mercy in terms of ordering parts because they don't fall within the specs of normal 1911 extractors.

FWIW, I don't think anyone here knows about the Doublestar. IF they are in fact as good as they are on paper, they are setup better than any of the guns in the poll. I have yet to see one though.
