I'll start.

Growing up, my family always did movies we had all grown to love. It's a Wonderful Life, Scrooge, Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street. With my own family, we still do the movies, but we have added to that. After Christmas Mass, we seek out the only open harbingers of pizza and pick up what we refer to as the "Jesus Pizza". Its our meal of pizza on the eve of our saviors birth. Once the kids are in bed and guts full of pizza, the wife and I take what gifts remain and set them up on the hearth, fill the stockings, and then put ourselves to bed.

Such a wonderful time of year. A time for family. A time for tradition. What is yours?

I get to eat the cookies and drink the milk. But I always leave a thank you card!

We have replaced Milk and Cookies with Stout and Jerky... mainly because I became somewhat severely lactose intolerant somewhere in my mid 20s.

Thanks for sharing, Tran. Peace be with you and your family this holiday season.

We'd watch these movies too. My father would always fly into a rage because they demonize job creators.

So far we spend Christmas Eve with my family. We see my father, step-mother, step-sister, and all the kids for a little while and then hop over to my mother's. We go to Christmas Mass with her, my step-father, my sisters, and my niece and nephew. Then we open gifts there and play Monopoly (I'm still undefeated). On Christmas Day we go to my in-laws and eat lunch and open gifts there. We did Christmas early due to the weather Tuesday and my 2 uncles-in-law come down from Tulsa. Nothing terribly exciting, just some family togetherness and watching the kids tear into their toys.
