I sure remember the days several of us would get on our bicycles and peddle all day exploring new places without a concern in the world. We were living in Louisville KY and as long as I made it home for dinner I was free to go wherever I felt I was big enough to go. Doubt many of today's 10 year olds will ever know what that much freedom is like.

That was my dbleak's (my brother) and my life to a T. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.

We drank lots of sugary sodas and now we have type 2 diabetes and hardening of the arteries.

And the bb gun, I know the guy that got his eye put out.

But I still had a hell of a time and wouldn't change it.
