Well...here she is. Hoping to get a little range time in this weekend. At some point I will be upgrading the sights and possibly adding a set of CZ custom full checker cocobolo grips with some hex screws. The factory rubber grips are surprisingly comfortable so I may just end up leaving them be.

Seeing that picture is making me want one bad...I am selling off a couple of things and planning to get a Commander size 1911 in 9mm...but...but...I remember how well my CZ-75 Compact shot and how damn good looking she was and...and...I am starting to re-think my plans...

My P01 is the first gun ive had with a decocker and although funky at first...I ended up really like it a lot. I think in a defensive situation a DA with a decocker is better than a SA cocked and locked. Just aim and squeeze the trigger.

based on the hot-as=hell cash burning a hole in my ocket!
You got one ordered up yet Joel????

Man,
I was/am/was working my way towards buying a new 1911 Lightweight Commander in 9mm, then these guys gotta go showing me pistol porno pics and now I am lusting for a P-01 in a big way. I have to sell that G26 I have posted first, then I will have to make a decision - and run my old self to the LGS (or online) and just buy something and be done with it! I mean, I love the lines of a 1911 pistol, I like tinkering with them, shooting them, adding to them, etc. But then again, nothing pumps blood in my vein like the sexy lines of a CZ P-01 either. (Well, there is maybe one or two things I can think of, but that's not gonna get me any closer to the accumulation of funds necessary to quench my thirst.

In all seriousness, one has to train oneself to sweep that safety "off" on the draw with a 1911, or all is naught. I have carried a 1911 in the past, and then slid over to Glocks for CCW, I would have no more problem going back to a 1911 than I would riding a bike again after these many years.

It was my understanding that Tommy at Sooner State Pawn had ordered a second P-01 and was waiting on it to arrive. If so, just trade the G26 in on it...I doubt that you'd be disappointed with the amount that they offer you on the Glock. :thumb:

So does anyone have an answer to the OPs original question?

Are there any gun shops in the OKC area who have CZ pistols on hand?

I have a friend who is in love with my 75B and 75B Kadet,,,
But he would love to fond,,, eerrr,,, handle some of the others before he buys?
