The company I'm part owner in finally received the license we applied for back in the first week of October. The company name is HomeCare Specialists. We are providing in home care to those that needs varying levels of care. This has been a 15 month process to complete. Now the real journey begins.

I appreciate that. We have done more research on this industry that I care to relive. Just to give some insight. Not one company national franchise or independent operation has more than 1% of the market. With a rough 10,000 people a day hitting 65 years of age our client base is only going to grow. Studies show there will not be enough companies legally providing this area of care to provide services to those needing the care.
No one says, "I want to go to a nursing home when I get older." We provide an option to extend the stay in the home. When the skilled facility is needed we can assist with a smooth transition.

Yep, I have a friend in a related medical business. He wants for nothing now, but more free time to hunt and fish.
A company like this was a life saver for me when I was taking care of my brother, who was terminally ill. I still had to work and he couldn't be left alone. I hired a company (forget the name) so he could stay at my house in familiar setting with family until the end. It was what he wanted and I'm glad I was able to at least meet that want for him with the help of that home care company.

XDnut I'll keep that in mind. We have set thresholds to hit before we hire any additional staff. Until then all Accounting/Bookkeeping/HR falls under my directive.
