BPS has a jerky kit for around $80.00 and anyone can make it.

Sounds pretty overpriced to me.

Get on amazon and get yourself a good dehydrator for 40-$50. Here's mine, and I LOVE it.

You can get cure seasoning kits, or do like I do and just google search for good recipes. Cut your meat frozen to make it easier, or have a butcher cut it for you dethawed. I typically shoot for 1/4" thick. Let your meat marinate in it for 8-12 hrs and then pop it in the dehydrator.

Should take about 4-7 hrs to make 3 lbs. using a dehydrator. Saves alot of money and you can customize your recipes.
