I may be behind the times(no doubt) but read the they dropped IMR 4759. I have had a stash of powder for many years and haven't had to go looking. So, if I were to go looking, what would be a suitable sub? 5744, 4064,2400?
I guess I'm asking because I was planning on casting up a bunch of boolits for the Mosins and loading everything I had.
Thanks

My understanding is that Hodgdon has dropped the following powders:
4756
4759
7625
PB

According to info posted on the Brian Enos forum, over a year ago ---

"Email I recieved when asking about 4756 being discontinued:

Yes this powder along with 4759, PB and 7625 will be discontinued by the end of 2014. I can understand that you are disappointed but there are many reasons why we are discontinuing including outdated technology, high manufacturing costs and low sales.
Appreciate your interest and business"

ETA: I've seen some 1 pounders of 4759 still around, but none of the others in forever.
