Does anybody have a Ruger Ranch Bolt gun in 7.62x39?

Well I went ahead and took the plunge.
However Ruger needs to improve their deburring process.
Every thing looked fine until you took out the bolt and looked it over.
Lots of burrs and very sharp edges all over the bolt which I somewhat expected after watching several videos of people have bolt operation problems.
well a little stoning and wirewheel blending greatly improved the operation on an empty gun.
Since I don't have any dummies I'll just have to see how it feeds next week at the range.
Now I need a scope.

I did before giving it to my grandson recently. Still own a Howa in the same caliber. It consistently out shot the Ruger. Both rifles have Boyd’s stocks and floated barrels. The Ruger is fine but would not out shoot the Howa even once

Good that you were able to take care of it but Id have sent it back to Ruger and told'em to fix it
