My daughter started this plant 3 years ago and has diligently maintained it. Moving it to the insulated garage in the cold months and to the patio in the warm months.

The plant blooms one night a year and this was the first year for the blooming.

She hand pollinated it so hopefully some fruit will develop.

The flower is close to the size of a football and the container is about twenty gallons. It probably weighs close to 150 lbs.

The wife says it is a fruit (some call it a 'super food'), it is edible, and you can sometimes find it in Aldi's!

We sell it from time to time at the grocery store I work at. I haven't tried it yet but I've been told it's similar to mango.

Your daughter has done an amazing job caring for hers!
