I've seen some good ones and some bad ones in terms of appearance and finish (even from the same importer) so I'd want to see it in person vs ordering it from SOG, though SOG will let you send it back if you aren't happy.
I bought a Saiga 308 and did the stock conversion to make it look more AKish. You can also dress them up in a Dragunov style and they will work very well for that.
I've heard the original Dragunovs were designed for what we would call a "designated marksman" role in a squad, vs a true "sniper" role, so being accurate enough to place rounds center mass on a body at 300m was good enough. The PSL should do that, and the Saiga will do a little better.
