Ersland Attorney Talks About Using Guns In Self Defense

Did anyone see this article today? Does anyone know what it means? Is this attorney offering to represent you for free for 5 years (after you pay $500 up-front) or is this purely a retainer for his services? Is this guy a good attorney?

I believe Ersland fired his first attorney Irvin Box....and hired Friesen to handle his appeal.

If I am not mistaken, Friesen is doing this for nothing. I carry his card in my wallet just in case.

Ersland went with the big name attorney in OKC. Maybe he should have gone with Friesen in the first place. I think I would have to consider his services if I were ever to need an attorney for this.

Freisen is supposed to be the go-to guy for gun charges in OK. He does the legal part of H and H's SDA class

The $500 is for a retainer. You pay him that amount every year, no matter what to keep him in your back pocket.
If you have to use his services, normal attorney fees apply.
