Now you can take your generators around and charge all of the EVs that are dead! Gotta be a few Tesla owners saying "you mean I can't go anywhere?" Nope. If out of gas, get your buddy to bring you a can then drive to gas station. Good luck with your buddy bringing you a EV charger!
All you need to do is bring them one of these to charge their EV. Make sure you order the cold fusion reactor model so it will have plenty of power.

Gas stations around the Collinsville area and Claremore area are closed due to no electricity.
If you have a generator make sure you have stored gasoline for many days.

Looks like our rural electric service provider. A few years ago during a ice storm we were out for 11 days before power was restored. I had generators and a 150 gallons of fuel along with 4 cords of wood. We made it but during summer I believe I would be sleeping in the car or truck.

I'm getting damned sick of it raining every other day. My yard is still full of weeds and I've sprayed three times this year. Checking the forecast doesn't work, because if I spray it rains and washes it right off. Three times and three times it's been washed off. I even quit spraying and it still rains every other day. I also need about three days between rains to be able to mow without rutting the yard. It's not in the cards this year I guess.

:pissed:
Maybe spray on the days it don't rain and try a different chemical. What kind of weeds are you trying to get rid of?

You're welcome to judge my character, but there are a lot of assumptions involved with the intentional insult. I didn't insult you, or even this place. I shared my experience, and compared...in order to get more insight into what's going on around me in this still new to me environment. Asking questions and gaining information from my community shouldn't result in personal attacks.
You are living on the I 40 tornado alley. expect the storms and try to be ready for what comes you way. I live down in the SE part of Oklahoma and we where hit hard too. The PSO crews come from everywhere. Our power went out at about 1 am. I got up about 3 am and called to report the outage, and went for a drive to see where the problem might be, and get some gas for the welder and some ice. Found the gas and the ice at little quick stop. Power was on in town, when I got to the north side of town was out. I drove down a street where the PSO line crossed looked up the right of way and could make out lines down, tree on it. Called PSO and let them know where. They had a truck there in 30 minutes. I got my welder running the powered up the refridge and freezer. I was late getting to leave for the gun show in McAlester, got to leave about 9 am When the power was back on, thanks PSO. And thank the LORD it was not any worse!
